Grant Consulting

Sandy Selby specializes in finding grants for historic cemeteries and serves clients throughout the United States. Cemeteries are often overlooked by funders, but she is working to raise awareness with potential funders about the importance of cemeteries to our collective history.

Grant Prospecting:

Sandy has access to a vast database of grants and can connect you with funding opportunities that are a good match for your organization’s needs. Her grant prospecting report, available for a reasonable flat fee, is a well-researched list of four to eight grant opportunities specifically selected for your organization.

The process begins with a complimentary 30-minute telephone call or Zoom session where she will ask questions about your organization, your fundraising goals, and your community. This is all information she will use to create your customized prospect report, if you decide to move ahead with the process. Most reports are completed within one month.

Grant Writing:

There’s an art to grant writing. The best grant applications maintain a careful balance of professional presentation and emotional impact. Sandy Selby has a proven track record of writing grants that get funded. She works with her clients to put together an application package that is complete and well-written with attention to proper grammar and spelling. She is also adept at connecting your organization’s aims with the interests of the funding organization, which can help sway reviewers toward your project when competition is fierce.

Her fees are based on the complexity of the grant application and will be agreed upon before work begins.
